Just completed the JMT in September. A couple of other suggestions regarding resupply. Whether hiking north or south, you can resupply at Tuolumne Meadows assuming the post office is open (normally opens mid June to early July and is closed by September 15. Also there is a store with limited resupply options. Red’s also a store with limited resupply items, but you can catch the shuttle to Mammoth Lakes with a gear shop and multiple options for resupply.
