Tackling one of the USA’s amazing long-distance trails is an exciting and daunting prospect, especially when it comes to long term meal planning. To help with a little of the planning we’ve put together mail drop maps<\/a> for three\u00a0of the most popular hiking trails: Appalachian Trail<\/a>, John Muir Trail<\/a> and Pacific Crest Trail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our list includes both USPS post offices and local hostel\/outfitters that will accept and hold packages for hikers. We’ve done our best to include all pickup points along the trail, but we encourage your input if you have a new location or tip for us to share with the hiking community!<\/p>\n

In addition to listing out some of the key delivery locations, we’ve also put together a ‘Mail Drop FAQ<\/a>‘ to answer some of the basic questions about sending and receiving packages while hiking a trail.<\/p>\n
