New Donation Recipients

We get hundreds of requests from organizations and individuals for sponsorship or donation for events, and while we can't accept them all, we are happy to accept 2-3 requests per year. To date for 2011, we have selected two fantastic organizations to receive donations from Packit Gourmet - the Alabama Hiking Trail Society and Wilderness Volunteers!


Alabama Hiking Trail Society

The Alabama Hiking Trail Society and its members strive to plan, build, and maintain safe hiking trails for all to enjoy throughout the state of Alabama and educate the public in the careful use and enjoyment of Alabama's great outdoors.


Wilderness Volunteers

Wilderness Volunteers is a nonprofit organization created in 1997 to organize and promote volunteer service to America's wild lands. The Wilderness Volunteers organization connects service volunteers with public land agencies including the National Park Service, the Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
